CCEYA Officer (Children's House and Toddler)

This position will provide administrative support for the day to day operations of the departments while ensuring adherence to the regulations of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) as well as providing periodic classroom support as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). The incumbent will work from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday 12 months a year.

Qualifications experience and attributes:

  • A RECE member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
  • Degree or Diploma in related field
  • Previous experience in a similar environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Supply Assistant, Classroom and Extended Care - Lower School

A variety of shifts are available between the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Bayview Campus

Qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar capacity working with young children
  • Demonstrated passion for working with children preferably in a team teaching environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Current Standard CPR, First Aid and AED training
  • Current medical (record of necessary immunizations)
  • A current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
  • Montessori training (Toronto Montessori Institute preferred), RECE or equivalent is desirable
The hourly rate of pay for this position is $15/hr.
