Admission Procedures

Application Procedures and Conditions 

TODDLER   (18 months to 3 years old)  and CHILDREN'S HOUSE   (3 to 6 years old): 
  1. Call the Admission Office (905-889-6882 ext. 254) to schedule a Thursday morning Prospective Parent Information Session and Tour. At that time you will be given an application package.
  2. Schedule an appointment to submit your completed application form together with your $125 application fee. Please bring the original birth certificate and/or citizenship documents to this meeting. *Toddler and Children's House 3 and 4 year old applications will be received without an appointment.
  3. Children age five will be invited to visit a classroom for approximately 30 minutes to work with a guide. This visit will determine the child's acceptance to TMS, and level placement.
  4. Your child's application will be placed on a waitlist until an appropriate opening is available.

Applications for Toddler and Children's House are accepted throughout the year, space permitting.

ELEMENTARY  Grades 1 - 6:

  1. Call the Admission Office  (905-889-6882 ext. 254) to schedule an appointment for a Tour. At that time you will be given an application package that includes an application form and teacher evaluation form (including a return envelope).
  2. Submit your application by mail or you may drop it off at TMS. The application package must include:
  • Application form and $125 application fee
  • Copies of the child's last two report cards
  • Teacher Evaluation form to be completed by your child's current teacher and returned directly to TMS

The Admissions Office will call you to schedule an appointment for an interview and assessment. Please bring the original birth certificate and/or citizenship documents to this meeting.

COLLEGE  Grades 7 - 12:

  1. Call the Admission Office (905-889-6882 ext. 254) to schedule an interview and tour. At that time you will be given an application package that includes an application form and teacher evaluation form (including a return envelope).
  2. Submit your application by mail or you may drop it off at TMS. The application package must include:
    • Application form and $125 application fee
    • A certified copy of birth certificate and/or citizenship documents.
    • Copies of the student's last report card 
  3. After receipt of the application package the following items will be requested:
    • Teacher Evaluation form to be completed by your child's current teacher and returned directly to TMS
    • SSAT results

The Admission Office will call you to schedule an appointment for an assessment time.

Enrolment Procedures and Conditions (All Levels):
  1. The Admission Committee decision on an applicant is based on an evaluation of the visit or interview, report cards, SSAT results (grades 7 - 12) and the needs of existing classes with regard to balance of age and gender where applicable. The Admission Committee retains full discretion to admit or deny an applicant.
  2. Upon notification of acceptance the following must be submitted within two weeks of the date of acceptance.
  • Signed Parental/Guardian Agreement
  • Initial Registration Fee
  • Tuition Deposit
  • Pre Authorised Debit forms or post-dated tuition cheques for the selected payment plan

Students are enrolled for the entire school year. The person signing the Parental/Guardian Agreement accepts responsibility of all tuition fees. 

Unconditional Obligation: The obligation to pay all fees for the academic year is unconditional after acceptance of the student by TMS. Tuition obligation is for the full school year. Fees will not be refunded or transferred to another student.
