Arts
Visual arts, music and story telling are all explored through a variety of media. Students are encouraged to incorporate the skills they acquire in these activities into the other streams of their studies. The students are free to experience art, music and stories each day in a Children's House classroom. A variety of art mediums are available for the children to independently create their own masterpieces. Experience with the Montessori bells, daily circles including song and dance and weekly music classes conducted by a specialist provide the children with a variety of musical experiences. Cultural lessons also incorporate music, art and story telling. Art and music surround us. A TMS education allows a student to view the arts as natural parts of the world.
