Discovery Day Camp (an entity of TMS) is a fun, exciting, and memorable day camp for children (4 years of age and older) made up of a multitude of programming  that gives campers opportunities to experience activities in the creative arts, athletics and science with a focus on nature and the outdoors.

Once more, Discovery Day Camp has formed a unique partnership with the Toronto Region and Conservation Authority (TRCA), to be able to offer campers in Grade 1-6 an incredible outdoor-focused experience at both Bruce's Mill Conservation Area and Lake St. George Field Centre. Discovery Day Camp believes that children learn best through outdoor play. This program, leveraging access to amazing nature settings, will give campers a sense of being away, while developing a keen sense of independence.

Campers in our 4-6 year-old group will also enjoy an outdoor-focused day-camp program that will take place at TMS and leverage the school’s incredible Lower School campus amenities, as well as surrounding ravine area. (Note: All children attending camp must be 4 years of age at the time their session begins).

Through extensive training, our staff members have the tools and support needed to ensure that each and every camper is celebrated for their own unique abilities. We are confident that every day at camp will be a fantastic experience at every age and stage. We can’t wait to welcome you and your family!

For students who have completed Grades 6, 7 and 8 (Leaders In Training), and Grade 9 (Counsellors In Training), we offer a program that not only offers development in leadership theory and skill building, but an opportunity to apply them in a fun, supportive environment.
