Our Senior Team
We know David for his love of sharing stories, believing that they show the best of ourselves. David is also known for having stoically built his character on an absurd yet blindly passionate support of the two worst soccer teams in the world – Hearts and Scotland.
We know Kirsten as a reflective collaborator who inspires others to act with confidence. She is an innovative thinker whose insightful nature draws people to her. And she always embraces heels over flats.
We know Vince for his ability to create transparency and clarity around financial information. He is “all in” with school life and enjoys coaching our Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee teams. We also know Vince for his one glaring weakness, chocolate, in all shapes and forms.
We know Carolyn for her strong sense of order. She is a magnet for our Toddler and Children’s House students and is always willing to listen and support with a ready smile and infectious laugh. Carolyn is a scrapbooker extraordinaire.
We know Rachel as a kind and passionate advocate for student learning. She brings joy to her work believing strongly in the power of positive relationships. She is a huge fan of selfies and welcomes any opportunities to capture moments on camera.
We know Sheila as a staunch advocate for the value of genuine and open communication. She is known for her receptive and ready interactions with everyone in the TMS community. Recently, she reached a personal goal by walking to the top of the Huyanu Picchu in Peru.
We know Peter for his advocacy of student voice and support for the many student initiatives at TMS. He brings energy and a listening ear to the ideas that involve the school. When not at TMS, Peter can often be found running or training for triathlons, often substituting his running shoes for wheels for the commute to and from work!
We know Dionne as a passionate creative and design thinker, always on the lookout for deep and resonating ways to connect people to the TMS vision and mission. Her life-loves are two fold and often combined: open water and hound dogs.
We know Blaine as someone who brings people together and gets things done. Whether organizing a school play or camp, Blaine always has a solution and keeps his cool. Blaine loves cooking and food – especially an East Coast lobster roll.
We know Silvana for her passion for meeting new people and building strong relationships. She is the institutional memory of TMS who reminds us all of the school’s history. She is also a cool and savvy grandmother.
We know Sharron as an enthusiastic team player who always steps up to help. She is a great source of information for new and current parents. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family at the cottage. And she has great shoes.
We know Rakesh as a builder of great connections with TMS parents and alumni. He is optimistic and calm when things are happening simultaneously. He also has a reputation for his sense of humour and office pranks, especially on April 1st.
We know Theresa as an advocate for TMS’ IB program that develops Renaissance individuals. She loves working with her ambitious and vibrant students. She is also an amazing storyteller, who can turn a dull topic into a riveting narrative.
We know Ashley as an advocate for health and wellness. She encourages all students to strive for personal growth through sport and fitness. Ashley’s belief that the Toronto Maple Leafs can win the Cup is evidence of her sense of optimism.
We know Dave as a kind, dedicated gym teacher and coach. His students say he always has time to explain things and build their confidence. He also has a knack for coming up with funny nicknames for them.
We know Jennie for her thirst for new ideas. She is superb at collaborating with teacher and administrators to create TMS' Extended Care Program. Jennie embraces lifelong learning and has an awesome sense of style.
