Our Senior Team
We know Andrew as an empathetic leader who highly values relationship-building with all school community members. He is a global citizen who has lived and worked in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and South America. When not in school, Andrew enjoys nature walks with his family and trying out his secret oatmeal cookie recipe.
We know Kirsten as a reflective collaborator who inspires others to act with confidence. She is an innovative thinker whose insightful nature draws people to her. And she always embraces heels over flats.
We know Vince for his ability to create transparency and clarity around financial information. He is “all in” with school life and enjoys coaching our Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee teams. We also know Vince for his one glaring weakness, chocolate, in all shapes and forms.
We know Carolyn for her strong sense of order. She is a magnet for our Toddler and Children’s House students and is always willing to listen and support with a ready smile and infectious laugh. During her time away from school, Carolyn likes to spend time with family and scrapbook life’s special moments.
We know Rachel as a kind and passionate advocate for student learning. She brings joy to her work believing strongly in the power of positive relationships. She is a huge fan of selfies and welcomes any opportunities to capture moments on camera.
We know Sheila as a staunch advocate for the value of genuine and open communication. She is known for her receptive and ready interactions with everyone in the TMS community. Recently, she reached a personal goal by walking to the top of the Huyanu Picchu in Peru.
We know Peter for his advocacy of student voice and support for the many student initiatives at TMS. He brings energy and a listening ear to the ideas that involve the school. When not at TMS, Peter can often be found running or training for triathlons, often substituting his running shoes for wheels for the commute to and from work!
We know Silvana for her passion for meeting new people and building strong relationships. She is the institutional memory of TMS who reminds us all of the school’s history. She is also a cool and savvy grandmother.
We know Andrea as an inquisitive, lifelong learner who is passionate about supporting the development of confident and compassionate students. She brings a sense of optimism and calm with her to TMS and enjoys collaborating and innovating with colleagues. Andrea spends her spare time cheering for her favourite hockey teams in arenas and fine-tuning her classical ballet training.
We know Rakesh for his ability to make positive connections with the many different individuals and families at the School as well as our alumni and community partners. He stays optimistic and calm when many things are happening simultaneously. He has a reputation for his sense of humour and office pranks – especially on April 1st. At TMS, Rakesh is known.
We know Ryan as a community builder, innovator and enabler. He’s a big picture thinker with experience across the student-life cycle and fundraising continuum. He is a dedicated volunteer and sports enthusiast.
We know Ashley as an advocate for health and wellness. She encourages all students to strive for personal growth through sport and fitness. Ashley’s belief that the Toronto Maple Leafs can win the Cup is evidence of her sense of optimism.
We know Dave as a kind, dedicated gym teacher and coach. His students say he always has time to explain things and build their confidence. He also has a knack for coming up with funny nicknames for them.
We know Doris for her extensive knowledge and experience within the human resources landscape, and her passion for building a vibrant culture at our School. Her calming presence and ability to make positive connections make her an incredible ambassador to current and prospective staff and faculty. Outside of TMS, she enjoys tennis and recently started playing golf.
We know Richard as a discerning and calm leader whose reaction to adversity is organized and efficient. When not responding to building concerns, Richard can often be found turning wood on his lathe or out at the curling club.
