Toddler (18 months to 3 years)

After the Information Session, you will receive a full Admission package.

3 . Submit Your Application

with your completed application, we require a copy of the student's birth certificate or passport and updated immunization record.

4. Waitlist

Your application will be placed on a wait pool until a space becomes available

Hours

Half Day Program 8:30 -11:50 am

Staggered dismissal from 11:30 - 11:50 am

Full Day Program 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Snacks and lunches

Snacks (one for half-day students; two for full-day students) and lunches will be provided by a third-party food service. There is an extra cost for this service.

Extended Care Program

TMS offers before school care from 7:15 - 8:30 am and after school care from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. There is an extra cost for this program.

Class Ratio

In the Toddler Program the ratio is 1:5. The maximum number of students in a class will be 15 with two trained Montessori teachers and an assistant.

Since all learning is unique, each student is individually supported through the toilet learning process. Using a child-centred approach, the teachers look for cues of readiness in each student. The teachers work collaboratively with the parents to help with consistent guidance as the students learn this important life skill.

Outdoor Learning and Play

Full day students will go outside for an hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon, weather permitting. Half Day students go outside twice a week.

Naptime

Full Day students will have a naptime after lunch for approximately 1.5 hours. Each student has their own cot with bedding provided and laundered by TMS.
