Elementary Titan Life

Students in our Elementary Program (made up of Lower Elementary - Grades 1-3, and Upper Elementary - Grades 4-6), use the foundations built in Toddler and/or Children’s House and begin to pursue their Titan Life interests in more formalized ways. Titan Life in the Elementary program may include:  

  • Joining a group, team or club  from a wide variety of choices
  • Learning about social causes and effective fundraising
  • Engaging in service initiatives to help others
  • Building respectful and meaningful relationships
  • Developing mental and physical skills in sports and athletics
  • Growing their skills in visual art, drama or music

Students in the Elementary Program have the option to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, designed to complement the four pillars at TMS (Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Citizenship).  These co-curricular activities provide additional enrichment for students, as well as provide opportunities to develop leadership skills.  The programs are optional and are offered at no cost. Each program has been created to support our students’ desire to experiment, take risks and extend their knowledge in their various interests and develop spirit and courage while they pursue new experiences.

Some of the co-curricular activities offered* to Elementary students may include:

Additionally, Elementary students also participate in competitions/showcases with other Independent Schools including:

  • CIS Music Festival (CISMF)
  • Concours d’art oratoire (French Competition)
  • Pythagoras, Gauss and Byron Germaine Math Contests (Grade 4,5,6)
  • Let's  Talk Science Challenge (Grade 6)
