Grade 6

Welcome to the 2021 Elementary Showcase of Art!  We have curated an amazing collection of samples of artwork inspired by famous artists and created by some of our very own Elementary students.  We invite you to browse through these selected pieces and celebrate the amazing journey of talent of our students.  

Students in Grade 6 have looked at artists such as Pablo Picasso, a Spanish cubist artist during the early to mid 1900’s, and Jen Aranyi, a contemporary watercolour nature artist and graphic designer. Students have created artwork inspired by these artists using a variety of mediums such as: watercolour, oil pastel, coloured pencil, and marker. Exploring these artists and these mediums have provided our Grade 6 students an opportunity to express their own creativity and build upon the skills they have gained throughout their time at TMS.
