TMI—the Toronto Montessori Institute—has developed a 50-year legacy on the leading edge of global Montessori teacher training.  Since its inception, with Mario Montessori at its helm, TMI has graduated over 2530 teachers eager to prepare environments in which children thrive.

After much deliberation, TMI will cease operations as of June 30, 2022.

TMI was a destination and home to many. TMI will always be grateful to the staff and faculty of TMS and the adult learners who shared their Montessori journeys with us. At the heart of our practice we remember the children who always thrill us as they challenge us to meet their needs and build a world that is equal to their promise.

Anyone requiring a transcript who graduated in 2008 and beyond can order one by visiting the Student Transcript Electronic Protection Service (STEPS) at https://steps.oacc.on.ca. For those who graduated before 2008, please email tmi@tmsschool.ca. Please note processing will take 2-3 weeks.
